What to expect

Before Your Session

Once you’re booked, you’ll receive a short style and planning guide to help you feel prepared without overthinking. I’ll help with location ideas, outfit tips, and timing so everything feels effortless when the day arrives.

You don’t need to practice posing or worry about perfect smiles — just come ready to be yourselves.

During Your Session

Sessions are relaxed, baby-led, and full of movement. I’ll gently guide you when needed, but most of the magic happens when you’re simply loving on each other.

Expect snuggles, laughter, walking, playing, and real connection — not stiff poses or forced smiles.

If little ones need breaks, snacks, or cuddles, that’s completely okay. Those moments often become the most meaningful images.

After Your Session

Within your collection’s turnaround time, you’ll receive a beautifully curated online gallery where you can download your images.

You’ll also have access to my professional print shop, where you can use your included print credit to order lab-quality prints and products delivered directly to your home.

If you decide you want more images, you’ll have the option to easily upgrade your gallery.

FAQ

How would you describe your photography style?

I LOVE candid, real moments during sessions. I try my hardest to capture genuine smiles (even from less-than-thrilled hubbies and toddlers) throughout the session. I like to photograph during golden hour if possible because I love the GLOW and lighting is everything! I edit warm and true to color. Some sessions, depending on lighting and location may vary slightly. Please check out my home page for a sampling of my work.

What should we wear for our session?

I am MORE than happy to assist you in deciding on outfits for your session! Choosing the right look for your outfits really does make a difference in how your photos turn out. I have style guides available for family, maternity, and lifestyle newborn sessions.

When will we get our photos?

Short Story collections are delivered as a completed gallery without preview images. Standard delivery time is 4 weeks. Classic and Full Story collections include a sneak peek preview within a week of session.
*Full Story collections also include priority editing and faster delivery.

Do I have to order prints and products through the gallery?

No, you do not have to! However, it is actually reasonably priced for professional prints and the colors will come out great! Plus, your session includes a print credit for Pixieset! If you do not want to print through your gallery, I would recommend mpix.com for quality prints. The prints might not turn out true to color or quality if you print through other places like Costco or Walgreens. If you plan on printing larger than 8x10, please let me know so I can make sure you have the proper downloads.
*Also, if you choose to still print at places like Shutterfly, beware of the auto enhance! When in doubt, shoot me a message and I'd be happy to help!

Where are you based and do you travel?

I live in Chattanooga/ North Georgia area and will travel with a fee for locations more than an hour away from me.

Do you photograph events too?

YES! I would love to come help you document gender reveals, proposals, birthdays, and whatever other occasion that is meaningful for you and your family. Fill out the contact form and we can discuss your event!
